Ode to Mt. Dew

Your taste was enticing for far too long.
Your sweet nectar I no longer enjoy.
You are sugary,
you are bubbly,
you are full of caffine.

For days I have missed you;
but I know better than to give in.
The headaches will pass,
the cravings will subside.

You became too comfortable a friend.
Darn my enjoyment of you!
Someday, I hope we can be friendly again.
But not too friendly.

Here we go...

Well, here I go. I started a blog. I've thought about this for awhile. I figure that since I lurk on everyone else's blogs. I may as well just come to the party all ready (plus I HATE myspace and I refuse to join that dating scene, er, trap-o-death). Hopefully, this will help me de-lurk. And, who knows who'll ever read this but from one lurker to another- I'd love to hear from you!
